Opis

Act as Amcor’s primary technical representative at customer sites
Maintain customer and Amcor equipment, including scheduled preventive maintenance
Lead assembly and preventive maintenance of Amcor filling equipment
Assess customer equipment and recommend repairing or replacing worn or damaged tooling
Help resolve customer issues and share opportunities with plant and corporate teams
Support field trials of Amcor packaging
Train customer employees in correct product use and testing methods
Gather data and samples from suspect packaging and products outside specifications
Lead investigations to identify and resolve root causes
Verify package performance at customer sites
Coordinate with external vendors on quotes, designs and schedules
Follow up to support customer satisfaction
Prepare trip reports covering site visits, data and resolutions

Zahteve

A manufacturing or engineering degree is preferred
Two to five years of combined education or related work experience is required
Travel is required 75% of the time
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability are required
General working knowledge of electrical systems is required
Previous mechanical experience with filling lines and equipment is preferred
Plastics industry experience is desired
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently with customers, manufacturing plants and corporate teams
Data-driven problem solving using established, recognized techniques
