Opis

  • Build big data systems, ETL pipelines, and data lakes, lakehouses, or meshes.
  • Create data schemas and ontologies.
  • Build a data foundation for generative AI applications, including RAG, and business analytics.
  • Implement row-level and cell-level data access controls.
  • Write Python or JavaScript code for data integration and application functionality.
  • Document data definitions and designs.
  • Support a new data foundation for analyzing diverse datasets and enabling generative AI applications.
  • Define foundation tools, schemas, and ontologies for software engineers to implement and management to understand.

Zahteve

  • US citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance in DISS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, or technology field with 8+ or 12+ years of experience, or a master’s degree in one of those fields with 6+ or 10+ years of experience.
  • Relevant additional experience may substitute for a degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience designing and developing systems to analyze large structured and unstructured datasets from disparate sources.
  • At least 5 years of experience with principles used in AI applications, including RAG.
  • Ability to develop tools, algorithms, and queries that improve business performance.
  • Ability to create technical solutions through hands-on Python or JavaScript development.
  • Ability to develop intelligent systems that analyze data, learn patterns, predict outcomes, and make decisions autonomously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including explaining data engineering and architecture concepts to nontechnical audiences.
  • Experience working directly with product owners.
  • Preferred: Experience integrating or operating Dagster, PostgreSQL, Alembic, and pgvector.
  • Preferred: Experience with digital engineering using SysML.
  • Preferred: Experience with generative AI applications, including RAG, embeddings, and vector search.
  • Preferred: Experience providing operational support for data foundations and DevOps.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Medallion-style architecture.
  • Preferred: Current Secret clearance in DISS.
