Attorney Support Specialist and Secretary
Provides legal and administrative support, including matter openings, conflict checks, engagement letters, and billing. Works with attorneys, clients, and staff at Latham & Watkins.
Opis
- Handle confidential administrative work for attorneys and managers
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, attorneys, and staff
- Coordinate new matter openings, conflict checks, and engagement letters
- Manage client billing from draft preparation through revisions and submission
- Coordinate attorney billing matters with Revenue Management
- Handle attorney communications as requested
Zahteve
- High school diploma, secondary school diploma, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Relevant administrative experience in a legal or professional services setting
- Strong written and spoken English skills and proficiency in another European language, preferably German, Italian, or Spanish
- Professional interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff at all organizational levels
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a focus on client service
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to set priorities and manage multiple deadlines
