Technical Director, Software Architecture & Technology Strategy — Spain Remote

Descriere

  • Serve as knowmad mood’s cross-functional technical authority for strategic clients
  • Provide direction and alignment across the company’s technical delivery and presales activities
  • Act as a technical advisor to multidisciplinary client teams, including technical leads, architects, and project managers
  • Maintain direct technical communication with clients
  • Oversee the full client engagement lifecycle, from planning and presales through delivery
  • Prepare presales proposals, define solutions, and present knowmad mood’s global or specialized capabilities
  • Develop solution proofs of concept and pilot implementations
  • Unblock complex projects or client situations through low-level technical analysis
  • Promote development-project best practices and infrastructure, including code repositories and infrastructure as code
  • Join technical strategy discussions with technology community representatives to identify synergies and determine strategic direction
  • Propose and lead technical initiatives involving artificial intelligence and emerging technologies
  • Design robust, scalable architectures aligned with business needs and quality standards
  • Assess the technical feasibility of solutions, technologies, architectural approaches, and trade-offs
  • Bridge business and technology while managing communication and expectations

Cerințe

  • At least 10 years of experience as a software or solutions architect, covering enterprise solution design, estimation, risk management, and implementation across different technologies
  • At least 3 years of experience serving as a client-facing technical authority with technical leads reporting to you
  • Team leadership skills and extensive experience with agile methodologies
  • Experience applying generative AI to software development
  • Creativity, an innovation mindset, and initiative to propose and lead new ways of working or organizing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to take on management responsibilities, lead teams, and manage client relationships
  • Experience delivering fixed-scope projects
  • Technical presales experience, including solution design, estimation, documentation, risk management, and client presentations
  • Extensive software architecture experience with architectural patterns, hexagonal architecture, SOLID principles, microservices, and event-driven architecture
  • Experience with multiple backend and frontend languages and technologies
  • Experience and knowledge in data-related disciplines
  • Experience designing and managing REST and SOAP APIs and API management
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and services across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong focus on software quality and continuous improvement of development processes
  • Advanced English proficiency and availability to work in Spain
  • A university degree is required
