Senior Life Actuary - Inforce Pricing and Analytics

Descriere

  • Conduct actuarial analyses supporting new product development, future-result projections, existing-product repricing, and financial-strength assessments.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members.
  • Review and maintain benefits and fees for the inforce block.
  • Partner with actuarial, product management, forecasting, risk, and finance teams.
  • Apply software-based actuarial models to pricing, valuation, and risk management work.
  • Assess laws and regulations for compliance and propose process improvements.
  • Track industry communications for anticipated legal and regulatory changes.
  • Support team members and leaders with escalated issues.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in designated actuarial disciplines.
  • Guide project teams from concept and planning through execution and implementation.
  • Create exhibits and reports that clarify proposals and analytical findings.
  • Present recommendations to leadership.
  • Maintain appropriate pricing levels, pricing structures, data access, and other conditions needed for profitability and competitiveness.
  • Assess critical assumptions and propose corrective actions for adverse trends.
  • Test assumptions using sources of gain and loss, premiums, interest margins, reserves, and cash values.
  • Identify, measure, monitor, and manage risks under applicable risk and compliance policies.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor's degree, or four years of relevant education and/or experience.
  • Six years of actuarial experience with Fellow status in the Society of Actuaries, or 12 years of relevant actuarial experience with Associate status in the Society of Actuaries.
  • Subject matter expertise in at least one core area, such as product pricing, reserving, economic capital, modeling, or asset-liability management.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional actuarial projects through concept, planning, execution, and implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to create effective documentation, facilitate training and development, and present to multiple levels of management.
  • Experience pricing inforce life and/or annuity products.
  • Experience using AXIS modeling software.
  • Experience leading projects.
  • Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship now or in the future.
