Descriere

  • Lead a software development organization spanning multiple engineering teams
  • Convert business and organizational strategies into actionable technical roadmaps
  • Keep systems and engineering teams aligned with strategic business goals
  • Partner with Product, Product Design, and Delivery teams to prepare initiatives
  • Assess project opportunities, risks, priorities, scope, and cross-functional dependencies
  • Oversee the exploration, design, documentation, and communication of system architecture, APIs, messaging, and third-party integrations
  • Build a collaborative, creative culture that encourages individual contribution
  • Coach team members, provide actionable feedback, and support career progression
  • Evaluate system and team performance while prioritizing opportunities for improvement
  • Support teams in delivering technical initiatives and maintaining ownership of outcomes
  • Track technology developments, promote innovation, test emerging tools, and engage with technology communities

Cerințe

  • At least seven years of professional software development experience
  • At least three years of recent experience managing or leading an engineering team
  • Experience working within an agile development environment
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering and development principles
  • Advanced technical expertise in one or more of JavaScript, MSSQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, AWS serverless, CI/CD, or Salesforce
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Sound judgment and the ability to make timely decisions
  • Strong focus on detail and accuracy
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and build consensus
  • Knowledge of system design, data structures, and algorithms
  • Experience with distributed or scalable systems and high-volume applications
  • Commitment to ongoing learning in current and emerging technologies
