Descriere

  • Develop and deliver advanced data science solutions across the business.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of data scientists.
  • Set and deliver the data science strategy for the area.
  • Guide the development of advanced machine learning and statistical models.
  • Manage data science projects from initial exploration through production deployment, monitoring and optimisation.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities for data science.
  • Assess new data sources, methods and technologies.
  • Ensure models are robust, scalable and governed appropriately.
  • Establish effective model validation and monitoring practices.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and technology teams on pipelines and production deployment.
  • Turn complex technical results into actionable insights.
  • Promote data science best practices, innovation and ongoing improvement.
  • Apply data science to telematics, claims, customer behaviour and other stages of the insurance lifecycle.

Cerințe

  • Experience leading, mentoring and developing data scientists.
  • Strong expertise in machine learning, statistical modelling and predictive analytics.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills.
  • Experience delivering data science solutions in a commercial setting.
  • Experience taking machine learning models from development and experimentation through production deployment and monitoring.
  • Experience working with large, complex, varied datasets.
  • Experience with cloud and data science tools such as AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake or Spark.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and influence decisions.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Ability to connect data science work to business problems and outcomes.
  • Successful completion of a thorough referencing process, including credit and criminal record checks.
