Senior Lead Cloud Engineer, Financial Crime Compliance
Lead TIAA’s AI-enabled cloud transformation for Financial Crimes Compliance, shaping architecture, automation, and governance across enterprise systems. The role focuses on AWS or Google Cloud and combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering.
Descriere
- Design information systems that meet user needs and align with the organization’s architecture.
- Plan operations and oversee operating system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Lead engineering and transform Financial Crimes Compliance with AI-powered solutions and modern cloud technologies.
- Research requirements and develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
- Assess and implement changes to system logic and documentation.
- Use functional expertise, models, workflows, procedures, and feasibility studies to design system solutions.
- Oversee documentation for system operation, maintenance, and development.
- Work with analysts, engineers, and programmers to define project scope, capabilities, performance needs, standards, and interfaces.
- Approve and implement fixes for system constraints and proposed changes.
- Train end users with instructional materials and demonstrations.
- Coach and mentor junior professionals.
Cerințe
- At least 5 years of hands-on and leadership experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- At least 3 years designing and developing cloud automation, configuration management, and enterprise infrastructure as code with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Ansible, and Python.
- Strong technical leadership in cloud foundational services, identity and access management, and cloud governance.
- Hands-on or oversight experience with Python, Ruby, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript, and/or Node.js.
- Direct experience applying AI and machine learning, such as large language models, intelligent automation, generative AI platforms, or AI-driven data analytics.
- Relevant experience in financial crime, risk and compliance, anti-money laundering, sanctions screening, or fraud detection and prevention.
- Familiarity with regulatory data requirements and integration with systems of record.
- AWS or Google Cloud certification preferred.
- AI and machine learning platform or data engineering certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud adoption and well-architected frameworks, account organization, and multi-account architecture preferred.
- Familiarity with network, application, and information security principles preferred.
- Experience with enterprise data foundation programs, data model design, data pipeline development, and technology adoption across multiple systems of record desired.
- University degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of work experience required; 7 or more years preferred.
