Inside Sales Representative – Building Materials

Grow Parksite and Atlantic Plywood’s building-materials business through new customer outreach and existing account support. Manage customer relationships, Salesforce records, quotes, and territory sales goals.

Descriere

  • Build new business in an assigned territory through outreach, lead qualification, and follow-up.
  • Work with Territory Managers to assess opportunities, gather account insights, and support territory growth plans.
  • Keep customer and prospect records accurate in Salesforce.
  • Promote products and company programs through digital marketing tools, calls, webinars, and conference calls.
  • Act as the main contact for existing customers.
  • Respond to sales inquiries, prepare quotes, and fulfill orders.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend products using a consultative sales approach.
  • Grow sales through product and program upselling and cross-selling.
  • Coordinate with logistics and purchasing to support smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales and profit targets, adjusting plans as needed.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
  • At least two years of inside sales and/or customer service experience.
  • Experience handling direct customer interactions, resolving concerns, and providing solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with a customer-focused approach.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organization, time management, and follow-up skills.
  • Able to sit for extended periods while using a computer and phone.
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks, including typing and data entry.
  • Able to communicate clearly by phone, video conference, and email.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Preferred: inside sales experience in the building products industry.
  • Preferred: familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and ERP systems; Infor is preferred.
  • Preferred: strong analytical skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive pricing.
  • Preferred: understanding of building materials and basic installation processes.
