Infrastructure Engineer – Kubernetes & GCP, UK Remote

Build and operate Kubernetes, GPU, and cloud infrastructure powering ElevenLabs’ AI voice, creative, and developer platforms. Develop reliable, secure, cost-conscious systems and automation at global scale.

Descriere

  • Build the platform used across ElevenLabs.
  • Own GPU infrastructure for AI model training and serving, plus the cloud platform supporting product teams.
  • Partner with research, product, security, and safety engineering teams.
  • Deliver new infrastructure and scale it with evolving team requirements.
  • Lead migrations and platform improvements focused on reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters, including GPU clusters for inference and training across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Provision compute, networking, permissions, and access for engineering teams.
  • Host and operate data systems used by product teams.
  • Create mainly Python-based tooling, automation, and services that make infrastructure self-service.
  • Own major initiatives such as cluster builds and cloud migrations from planning through completion.

Cerințe

  • Extensive hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in large-scale production environments.
  • Strong GCP experience, including independently designing, building, and migrating cloud infrastructure end to end.
  • Strong Python skills and a track record of solving infrastructure challenges through code and automation.
  • Experience operating stateful systems, including databases and Kafka, for other engineering teams.
  • Sound foundations in infrastructure as code, security, and permissions management.
  • A pragmatic approach to prioritising the most important work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Applicants must provide their current country of residence.
  • A GitHub profile link is required.
  • A LinkedIn profile link is required.
  • Experience with GPU clusters or machine-learning training and inference infrastructure, such as vLLM, is a plus.
  • On-premises or bare-metal infrastructure experience, or deep networking expertise, is a plus.
  • Open-source contributions to the cloud-native community are a plus.
