Cloud Infrastructure Architect – Azure, Remote

Descriere

  • Design and help oversee the organization’s foundational technology layers
  • Develop secure, scalable systems for servers, networks, cloud platforms, and storage
  • Identify emerging technologies and automation opportunities that improve the P&C insurance value chain
  • Define strategic blueprints for enterprise hardware, software, and network integration
  • Plan and deliver the migration from local data centers to Microsoft Azure
  • Evaluate existing systems and codebases, identify limitations and defects, and plan architectural improvements
  • Standardize and provision infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code and code-based deployments
  • Develop code and reusable infrastructure blueprints for automated environment provisioning
  • Help create automated build and release pipelines that support CI/CD and DevSecOps
  • Extend JSM automation into a self-service catalog
  • Embed security controls within foundational architecture layers
  • Work with Security and Compliance to automate controls and workflows
  • Coordinate with corporate security engineers to satisfy compliance requirements and insurance standards
  • Act as the principal technical lead for major foundational infrastructure programs
  • Mentor IT teams and engineering peers while advancing their technical capabilities
  • Evaluate emerging AI and automation technologies
  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and present effectiveness findings to leadership and technical teams
  • Measure potential AI integration in automation workflows against defined outcomes

Cerințe

  • Required bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field
  • Required Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
  • Azure Administrator Associate certification is preferred
  • At least five years of progressively responsible experience in a senior infrastructure position
  • Demonstrated ability to scope, architect, and deploy enterprise-scale platforms
  • Proven experience leading cloud migrations and operating production workloads in Microsoft Azure
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates
  • Experience administering CI/CD automation pipelines
  • Experience working with frameworks used in highly regulated industries
  • Property and Casualty insurance experience is preferred
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to interpret P&C insurance objectives and translate them into technology solutions
  • Ability to work independently or lead technical teams with limited supervision
  • Advanced analytical and architectural problem-solving skills
