Descriere

  • Develop organization-wide communications plans for fundraising initiatives.
  • Lead, coach, and support a team of communications professionals.
  • Work with senior executives to keep messaging clear and consistent.
  • Apply storytelling to strengthen fundraising efforts.
  • Coordinate fundraising communications campaigns with national and regional marketing teams.
  • Direct complex, large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Produce and oversee talking points, key messages, press releases, social media posts, newsletter content, FAQs, product information sheets, and other communications materials.
  • Direct external communications and public relations work.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Follow communications standards and protocols for reputation and issues management.
  • Create and manage content for RedCross.org, The Exchange, and Red Cross social media channels.
  • Advance organizational visibility and fundraising outcomes through strategic communications and engagement.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 7 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 5 years of management experience.
  • Strong oral communication, presentation, and training skills.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop project plans, budgets, and strategic approaches.
  • Demonstrated analytical judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to contribute effectively in a team.
  • Strategic and creative thinking while handling complex projects and competing priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptable, solutions-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving and execution.
  • Management experience is mandatory and cannot be substituted.
  • Familiarity with or exposure to fundraising communications, marketing, brand partnerships, or mission-driven campaigns is preferred.
