- Maintain and update the Mosaic animal management database
- Support data integrity work
- Assist with managing ethics protocols
- Create and review online training materials
- Train and guide staff and students
- Help coordinate animal movements, orders, sales and deliveries across UQ campuses as needed
- Carry out asset stocktakes
- Maintain equipment and asset registers
- Coordinate equipment movements
- Support office administration systems and workflows
- Provide dedicated administrative support to the Director and Administration Manager
- Liaise with stakeholders
- Assist with billing, reporting, record management and general operations
Cerințe
- Hold a degree with limited subsequent relevant experience, an advanced diploma with at least one year of subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education or training
- Demonstrated experience in administration and coordination
- Ability to review work practices and help improve procedures and processes
- Strong command of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience maintaining databases, ensuring data integrity, and supporting and training users
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality customer service and build effective relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated initiative and sound judgement
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Understanding of animal research and accurate data collection, compliance and record keeping
- Knowledge of relevant Animal Ethics, Biosafety, Biosecurity and Workplace Health and Safety requirements, or ability to acquire it quickly
- Unrestricted Australian work rights for the full appointment period
- Satisfactory medical clearance, including disclosure of relevant medical history, for work with laboratory animals
- Ability to comply with ongoing health monitoring and control measures
