  • Set technical direction for assigned integration projects from kickoff to launch.
  • Act as a key technical contact for clients during project kickoff.
  • Review signed Statements of Work to clarify scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Lead discovery and resolve gaps between the SOW and project requirements.
  • Maintain effort models for integration projects.
  • Prepare technical documentation and client references for HubSpot Custom Integration accreditation.
  • Record requirements and project decisions.
  • Map how data moves and changes between systems.
  • Diagram integration architecture across connected systems.
  • Design automation components such as workflows, triggers, and error handling.
  • Build integrations to remain stable across platforms under load, high volumes, and client-side changes.
  • Turn project plans into developer-ready tasks and hand them to engineering teams.
  • Stay involved during delivery to clarify open questions and help developers move forward.
  • Raise scope gaps, technical risks, and expectation mismatches early.
  • Participate in sales scoping and discovery for new and expanded integration work.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility and deal constraints.
  • Convert client needs into effort estimates, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Review draft SOWs for clear scope, dependencies, and technical risks.
  • Respond to clients’ technical questions during sales discussions.
  • Use delivery lessons to improve future scoping and estimates.

  • Have hands-on experience integrating or migrating business systems outside the HubSpot ecosystem.
  • Scope and estimate technical work.
  • Create data maps and/or system diagrams.
  • Understand how data flows between systems.
  • Turn client requirements into documentation developers can act on.
  • Communicate well with clients and lead discovery or requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Present technical recommendations and trade-offs to non-technical audiences.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Design integrations that operate reliably in production.
  • Preferred: experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics or Great Plains, Zendesk, Keap, Creatio, Procore, Snowflake, point-of-sale systems, or industry-specific platforms.
  • Preferred: experience with REST, SOAP, or GraphQL APIs.
  • Preferred: experience with an Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) system.
  • Preferred: experience supporting sales through pre-sales, solutions consulting, or scoping.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Lucidchart, Visio, or Miro.
  • Preferred: experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Preferred: a software development background sufficient to scope developer-ready tasks.
