Senior Accountant at Scalers – Hybrid France

- Own and administer an assigned portfolio of clients
- Supervise bookkeeping within an increasingly automated workflow
- Conduct accounting reviews and control procedures
- Prepare tax returns and submissions, including VAT, CFE, CVAE, DAS2, and related filings
- Manage year-end accounting close activities
- Produce statutory accounts and tax documentation
- Assist with financial reporting engagements
- Handle consolidation work and financial analysis
- Advise clients on the financial management of their businesses
- Serve as the primary financial adviser and trusted contact for key clients
- Guide, support, and develop junior team members
- Maintain quality standards and meet deadlines across a substantial file volume

- Accounting higher education, preferably a DSCG, a Master’s in Accounting, Control and Auditing (CCA), or a DCG combined with substantial professional experience; equivalent training is also considered
- Three to four years of experience working in an accounting firm
- Proven ability to independently manage a client portfolio, including financial statement and tax package preparation
- Meticulous approach and strong organizational habits
- Capacity to work independently
- Well-developed analytical abilities
- Ability to handle a high volume of files
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Polished professional manner and confidence in client interactions
- Ability to advise and assist financial and operational stakeholders
- Willingness to mentor and support junior colleagues
- DSCG certification is especially valued
