Remote Financial Assistant, Bank Reconciliation — Brazil

  • Reconcile bank accounts and financial investments each day in TOTVS RM.
  • Perform daily finance and accounting reconciliations, keeping data consistent across both modules.
  • Maintain a consolidated daily cash position in TOTVS RM.
  • Record the organization’s financial transactions accurately and manage its daily cash position.
  • Reconcile daily cash flow against financial and accounting records and resolve discrepancies.
  • Automate and maintain reconciliation workflows across Treasury, Accounting, and Finance to improve efficiency and reduce errors and rework.
  • Close monthly financial reconciliations by the second business day of the following month, after all transactions have been reviewed and approved.
  • Record and monitor bank fees and costs daily, flagging variances and potential savings.
  • Investigate and resolve differences between bank statements and records in TOTVS RM.
  • Follow up each day on open reconciliation items and track their deadlines.
  • Check fees, returns, interest, and transactions involving financial investments.
  • Help the Accounts Payable team address long-outstanding items when needed.
  • Prepare a monthly report on fees paid and recommend ways to improve fee management.
  • Work with Accounting, Treasury, and Accounts Payable to review processes and improve reconciliation routines.

Талаптар

  • A completed or in-progress bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Management Processes, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of bank reconciliation and cash flow processes.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, concatenation, and SUMIFS.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and chart of accounts structures.
  • Experience extracting integrated financial reports.
  • Experience reconciling bank accounts across multiple companies or entities with different tax identification numbers.
  • Familiarity with OFX and CNAB banking files and bank integration.
  • Interest in automating financial processes and using AI tools.
  • Knowledge of TOTVS RM is preferred.
