Graphics Programmer (C++) – Hybrid, IO Interactive
Join IO Interactive as a Graphics Programmer building and optimizing C++ rendering systems for AAA games. You will improve graphics performance across consoles, CPUs, GPUs, and multiple platforms.

- Build and optimize rendering systems and graphics pipelines across platforms and console generations
- Develop reliable, high-performance C++ for the proprietary Glacier engine
- Profile, diagnose, and improve CPU and GPU rendering performance within platform-specific constraints
- Partner with engine systems teams on data flow, memory management, and rendering feature integration
- Create advanced rendering solutions for cloth, crowds, terrain, weather, and environmental effects
- Help shape technical direction and the rendering roadmap as platform capabilities evolve
- Contribute to the development of next-generation AAA game experiences

- Experience shipping at least one AAA game as a Graphics or Rendering Programmer
- Advanced C++ skills with substantial experience in engine-level graphics systems
- Practical expertise with DirectX, Vulkan, or an equivalent graphics API
- Hands-on experience writing shaders
- Background in performance profiling and optimization within large-scale codebases
- Strong grasp of GPU architecture, rendering pipelines, and graphics fundamentals
- Ability to work across several platforms, including console environments
- Clear communicator who collaborates effectively in distributed, multicultural teams
