VP, Account Management - Pharma and Life Sciences | MERGE

Lead pharma and biotech account growth at MERGE, a health-focused marketing and technology agency. Manage $5–7M books of business and omnichannel HCP and DTC campaigns.

Description

  • Serve as the primary client advocate and trusted advisor for pharmaceutical and biotech accounts
  • Collaborate with executive and C-suite stakeholders to connect marketing programs with business objectives
  • Manage a $5–7M book of business and produce revenue forecasts
  • Develop incremental growth strategies and identify opportunities to expand client accounts
  • Oversee complex marketing initiatives, digital experiences, paid media, and integrated HCP and DTC campaigns
  • Guide and motivate cross-functional agency teams
  • Delegate responsibilities, support a collaborative culture, and develop team talent
  • Create near- and long-term strategic roadmaps for client brands

Requirements

  • Bring 8–10+ years of agency account management experience focused on pharmaceutical marketing
  • Demonstrate success delivering integrated campaigns for Healthcare Professional (HCP) and Patient/Consumer (DTC) audiences
  • Show experience managing mid-to-large agency accounts valued at $5M or more and leading cross-functional teams
  • Build and maintain trusted, authentic relationships with executive-level client stakeholders
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue forecasts while uncovering account expansion opportunities
  • Possess strong people-management capabilities and a commitment to developing talent and sustaining a positive team culture
  • US employment applicants must already have work authorization that will not require current or future visa sponsorship
  • Experience with Central Nervous System (CNS) medicines, including neurology, psychiatry, or neurodegenerative conditions, is preferred
