Third-Party Risk Analyst — London Hybrid

Support a global bank’s material third-party register by assessing arrangements and sourcing regulatory data. Coordinate stakeholders, maintain records, and track delivery from London.

Description

  • Assess a high volume of third-party arrangements against defined criteria and document the results consistently.
  • Coordinate assessment contributions from relationship owners and stakeholders in the UK and overseas.
  • Help identify material arrangements and confirm which population falls within the register’s scope.
  • Gather required data for material arrangements from internal repositories, contracts, and system records.
  • Compile and maintain the register according to the applicable regulatory template.
  • Monitor both workstreams, update trackers, follow up on outstanding actions, and report progress to the project lead.
  • Highlight data gaps, inconsistencies, and fields without an identified source, escalating outstanding information.
  • Maintain evidence and data-source records for use in future reporting cycles.
  • Assist the project lead with improved methodologies, ad hoc analysis, and information collation.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in third-party risk, outsourcing, vendor management, or a related risk and controls role within financial services.
  • Experience maintaining or populating an outsourcing or third-party register.
  • Knowledge of PRA SS2/21, PRA/FCA third-party reporting policy statements, or the EBA Guidelines on outsourcing arrangements is advantageous but not required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with substantial volumes of data.
  • Strong organisational and PMO capabilities, including tracker maintenance, deadline management, and information collation across multiple sources.
  • Confident stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to gather information from busy colleagues across locations and time zones.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Clear and concise written communication.
