Territory Manager, Surgical Care — Phoenix/Tucson Remote

Lead surgical wound-care sales for ConvaTec across the Phoenix and Tucson territory. Build hospital accounts, clinical partnerships, and Key Opinion Leader relationships.

Description

  • Promote and sell ConvaTec’s surgical product portfolio throughout the assigned territory
  • Assess competitors and pursue sales, quota, target, and profitability objectives
  • Create new target accounts, win new business, and expand sales within existing accounts
  • Maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual territory action plans
  • Review territory performance, sales data, and reports to identify account needs
  • Identify, prioritize, advance, and close sales opportunities
  • Support effective product use by trained health care professionals
  • Build relationships across operating rooms, nursing units, physician offices, care coordination, cath labs, labor and delivery, and other care settings
  • Stay current on company products, sales channels, and distribution methods
  • Communicate clinical evidence and evidence-based product value
  • Apply clinical knowledge of targeted surgical procedures
  • Maximize educational and Key Opinion Leader events, including trade shows, OR presentations, and educational meals
  • Build and sustain Key Opinion Leader relationships
  • Update the Regional Sales Manager on territory performance
  • Organize calendars and manage time efficiently
  • Attend required national, regional, and local meetings
  • Represent ConvaTec professionally during scheduled meetings
  • Follow travel, compliance, business conduct, ethics, and applicable industry code policies
  • Travel approximately 50%

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least two years of medical sales experience in a complex selling environment required
  • Proven performance in a highly competitive, aggressive, growth-oriented sales environment preferred
  • Operating Room or surgical sales experience preferred
  • Documented record of sales achievement, including stack rankings and awards
  • Distributor sales experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Strong learning agility and a hunter mentality
  • Ability to build networks effectively at all levels
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple call points
  • Positive attitude and strong problem-solving ability
  • Strong presentation skills in Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and in-person settings
  • Normal hearing, visual acuity, and manual dexterity required
  • Ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Must live in or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory
  • Evening and weekend work may be required
