Senior Software Development Team Lead – TeamViewer (Hybrid, Texas)

Lead TeamViewer’s integrations engineering team as it connects the digital workplace platform with ERP, WMS, and MES systems. Guide full-stack engineers while designing, coding, and delivering reusable enterprise integration solutions.

Description

  • Lead a TeamViewer engineering team focused on integrations and partner enablement
  • Connect TeamViewer products with enterprise platforms including ERP, WMS, and MES
  • Help partners create and maintain integrations independently
  • Manage, mentor, and develop full-stack engineers
  • Hold regular 1:1 meetings, give feedback, support career development, and manage performance
  • Design technical solutions, contribute code, review pull requests, and maintain engineering standards
  • Manage delivery from planning and estimation through release and ongoing support
  • Balance feature development with product quality and technical debt reduction
  • Turn customer and partner needs into technical solutions and priorities with Product Management
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and system integrators to understand workflows and develop reusable standard solutions
  • Advance agile practices, testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and technical documentation
  • Promote responsible use of AI-assisted software development
  • Contribute to hiring and onboarding as the team expands
  • Foster open communication, ownership, and accountability across the team
  • Partner with Engineering, Product Management, and Architecture teams across Europe

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • At least five years of software engineering experience
  • At least two years leading engineers as a Team Lead, Tech Lead, or similar role, including coaching and feedback
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot, or Node.js and TypeScript
  • Professional experience with React and TypeScript
  • Strong enterprise integration experience spanning REST APIs, data mapping and transformation, event-driven integration, and messaging
  • Working knowledge of authentication and authorization standards including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, Docker, and Azure or AWS cloud platforms
  • Practical experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor
  • A clear approach to responsible use of AI coding tools within a team
  • Experience collaborating with distributed teams across time zones and sufficient overlap with Central European Time
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Preferred: experience in SAP consulting, systems integration, or an integration-platform or SDK product company
  • Preferred: experience with SAP integrations such as SAP EWM, SAP S/4HANA, OData, BAPI/RFC, IDoc, or SAP BTP / Integration Suite
  • Preferred: WMS or MES product experience and knowledge of logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing processes
  • Preferred: experience with SDKs, developer tools, or developer documentation
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to Europe
  • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States
