Senior Property & Casualty Solutions Architect (Remote)

Description

  • Translate business goals into solution designs that fit the enterprise technology strategy.
  • Set modernization roadmaps for core insurance systems and digital services.
  • Facilitate architecture reviews and design sessions, and guide technology decisions.
  • Design systems for policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, distribution, and customer engagement.
  • Work with business partners to replace or improve legacy systems and streamline operations.
  • Establish API-first, event-driven, and cloud-native design approaches.
  • Guide the use of containers, orchestration, and modern application platforms.
  • Plan integrations using APIs, microservices, and current platform capabilities.
  • Find practical ways to apply AI and automation to improve employee and customer experiences.
  • Advise business, product, engineering, and architecture groups.
  • Coach technical teams and reinforce sound architecture practices.
  • Shape technology strategy across multiple initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bring at least 10 years of technology experience, including 5 or more years in architecture or technical leadership.
  • Have Property & Casualty insurance experience and familiarity with policy, claims, underwriting, or billing.
  • Have led large-scale modernization or digital transformation programs.
  • Know cloud-native architecture, APIs, integration approaches, and distributed systems well.
  • Have experience with Microsoft Azure, container platforms, and modern application architectures.
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Be authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship; eligible candidates include US citizens and lawful permanent residents.
  • Have experience updating mainframe or legacy insurance systems.
  • Have experience with Pega, Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or comparable insurance platforms.
  • Have experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), API management, and event-driven architecture.
  • Understand AI-enabled solutions, intelligent automation, and digital servicing capabilities.
  • Hold architecture credentials such as TOGAF or an Azure certification, or an equivalent certification.
