Manage models across the full lifecycle, including data pipelines, modelling, deployment, and monitoring
Increase the scalability and reliability of existing machine learning data pipelines
Partner with software engineers and product managers to translate business needs into practical solutions
Act as the Data Science specialist within a small Data Products team
Find product and business opportunities for machine learning and GenAI, then choose appropriate approaches
Coordinate with Platform and LLM Ops teams when further infrastructure support is required
Contribute to the machine learning and AI roadmap and help guide capability development across products

Requirements

At least five years of practical experience building and deploying machine learning solutions in production
Strong grounding in statistics and traditional machine learning techniques
Demonstrated ability to lead ML projects through data preparation, modelling, deployment, and monitoring
Advanced Python skills with scikit-learn or comparable machine learning frameworks
Working proficiency in SQL
Self-directed approach and confidence handling ambiguous problem statements
Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
English proficiency at C1 level or higher
German language skills are an advantage
Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, or dbt is an advantage
Background working with large language models or GenAI solutions is an advantage
