Description

  • Create and run LLM applications and services, including agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, and classification pipelines
  • Develop solutions using catalog, sales, and operational data
  • Build and maintain MCP servers and tool integrations that connect AI assistants with internal data and systems securely and reliably
  • Lead services across architecture, implementation, deployment, evaluation, and monitoring in AWS and Databricks
  • Assess emerging AI tools and engineering patterns, conduct structured pilots, and guide adoption of effective solutions
  • Expand team capability through working sessions, internal demonstrations, collaboration with scientists, and internal tooling

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience building and delivering production-grade software
  • Practical experience developing machine learning or AI systems
  • Experience deploying MCP servers or comparable tool-integration layers for AI assistants
  • Experience with cloud machine learning platforms such as AWS and Databricks
  • Experience using model APIs including Bedrock, Anthropic, and OpenAI
  • Experience working with vector databases
  • Experience applying AI or machine learning to commercial use cases such as demand forecasting, pricing, sales and marketing optimization, recommendations, or search
  • Experience in media, publishing, or another content-rich industry
  • Strong command of retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, prompt engineering, agentic architectures, and disciplined evaluation of generative systems
  • Advanced Python engineering ability
  • Experience with version control, automated testing, and continuous integration
  • Advanced degree, such as an MS or PhD, in computer science, machine learning, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coach and develop teammates
