Remote Warranty Coordinator II
Ryder seeks a remote Warranty Coordinator II to evaluate repair and purchase orders, prepare manufacturer claims, and support warranty recovery. The role also partners with field teams and manufacturers to resolve missing information and improve collection processes.
Description
- Evaluate repair and purchase orders to determine warranty claim eligibility
- Prepare and submit manufacturer warranty claims in accordance with applicable guidelines
- Research records and collect supporting information to maximize warranty recovery
- Work with field management to resolve missing repair details, 4-15s, and chargebacks
- Coordinate with manufacturer representatives to identify opportunities for stronger warranty collections
- Partner with the Warranty Manager on process improvements and operational best practices
- Support special projects as assigned
- Handle additional responsibilities as required
Requirements
- An associate degree in Business, Accounting, or Communications is preferred; a high school diploma or GED with equivalent experience may also qualify
- At least two years of data entry experience is preferred
- At least one year of customer service experience is preferred
- At least one year of diesel technology experience is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build and sustain professional relationships across organizational levels
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively while meeting departmental deadlines
- Adaptability and self-motivation in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management abilities
- Careful attention to detail and consistent follow-through
- Willingness to travel three or four times annually
