Product Sales Support Specialist, Motorcoaches

Support Daimler Truck North America’s U.S. motorcoach business by coordinating vehicle specifications, production orders, and certifications. Research market trends and channel customer and field feedback into product updates.

Description

  • Connect Daimler Truck North America sales with coach manufacturers and product engineering teams in Europe.
  • Manage accurate vehicle specifications, production orders, and related sales order documentation.
  • Coordinate with Sales Managers to match vehicle specifications to customer needs.
  • Track production schedules, build slots, order changes, and factory inquiries to support accurate, on-time delivery.
  • Maintain vehicle order records in SAP and other business systems.
  • Submit and track compliance documents for regulatory, internal, and delivery requirements.
  • File annual vehicle certification packages with the EPA and CARB, supporting U.S. regulatory compliance.
  • Report regularly on production orders, sales activity, product changes, and market developments.
  • Research North American motorcoach trends, market segments, regions, and competitors.
  • Turn market, field team, and customer feedback into recommendations for U.S. product updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in sales support, customer service, logistics, product management, or a related B2B environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, SAP, CRM platforms, and order management tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional customer service etiquette.
  • Accountability, integrity, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through.
  • Resume attachment required.
  • German language skills are an advantage.
  • Technical knowledge or education in mechanical engineering, commercial vehicles, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Global manufacturing experience is an advantage.
  • Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country where the position is located at the time of application.
  • Final candidates must pass a criminal background check.
  • Final candidates may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
