Principal Business Process Analyst

Lead complex process transformation programs at Visionworks, from strategic analysis through implementation and benefits tracking. Apply Lean Six Sigma, governance, and continuous improvement methods to strengthen operations.

Description

  • Direct high-priority, cross-functional improvement programs from identifying opportunities through implementation and benefits tracking.
  • Work with senior leaders to prioritize strategic initiatives that support growth, efficiency, customer and employee experience, quality, and financial results.
  • Set long-term process transformation strategies that align with organizational goals and future needs.
  • Design target processes, operating models, workflows, governance, controls, roles, and performance measures.
  • Assess organizational performance and find ways to improve efficiency, effectiveness, scalability, risk management, and customer outcomes.
  • Run quantitative and qualitative analyses to uncover trends, performance gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze financial, operational, risk, and business impacts to inform strategic recommendations and investment decisions.
  • Apply operational and financial metrics, predictive analysis, benchmarking, and statistical methods to support decisions.
  • Lead process diagnostics and engineering using value stream and process mapping, capacity modeling, time studies, workflow analysis, simulation, root cause analysis, and statistical analysis.
  • Use advanced Lean Six Sigma, process redesign, and continuous improvement methods.
  • Turn complex business and analytical findings into practical recommendations.
  • Define implementation plans, project governance, success measures, and executive reporting.
  • Oversee implementation and follow-up reviews to sustain results and confirm benefits.
  • Create and deliver training that builds organizational process improvement skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of process improvement or process reengineering experience.
  • Required Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification.
  • Experience gathering data, conducting research and analysis, identifying problems, and presenting recommended solutions.
  • Experience with financial and risk analysis, recommendations, business cases, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of project planning methods and techniques.
  • Expertise in the discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function.
  • Experience with business process analysis using Excel, flowcharts, activity diagrams, and workflow models.
  • Advanced ability to apply Six Sigma, Lean, statistics, data analysis, and change leadership methods.
  • Ability to document, propose, negotiate, and present approaches and solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of the business.
  • Ability to turn business needs into process, IT, or other solutions.
  • Ability to envision and plan for future business outcomes and change.
  • Demonstrated experience with tracking, reporting, and process mapping tools.
  • Strong conflict management, influencing, change management, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people or groups at every organizational level.
