Onsite Scheduling Coordinator - Hendersonville

Coordinate patient appointments and front-desk operations at an onsite oral surgery practice in Hendersonville. Support patient flow, records, payments, phone service, and relationships with referring offices.

Description

  • Welcome patients and visitors promptly with a warm, professional manner
  • Respond to incoming calls without delay
  • Schedule appointments to balance patient satisfaction, provider availability, and exam and treatment room capacity
  • Create each provider’s daily schedule
  • Prepare and organize patient charts
  • Collect amounts owed by patients
  • Coordinate patient flow to help minimize waiting times
  • Provide assistance to patients as needed
  • Keep the reception area clean, orderly, and presentable
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with referring offices
  • Deliver concierge-level service to patients, referring offices, and colleagues by phone, in person, and electronically
  • Handle other related responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • At least one year of customer service experience is required
  • Prior oral surgery experience is helpful but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of dental terminology
  • A welcoming, personable, and professional presence
  • Basic office capabilities, including typing and filing
  • Strong organizational ability
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Authorization to work in the United States, verified through E-Verify
  • Ability to protect confidential information in compliance with HIPAA
