Onsite Oral Surgery Scheduling Coordinator

Coordinate patient scheduling and front-desk reception for an oral surgery practice in South Jordan, Utah. Support appointments, charts, patient flow, and relationships with referring offices.

Description

  • Deliver concierge-level service to patients, referring offices, and colleagues through phone, in-person, and electronic communication.
  • Welcome patients and visitors promptly with a warm, professional manner.
  • Respond to incoming calls without delay.
  • Arrange appointments to balance patient satisfaction, provider availability, and exam and treatment room capacity.
  • Create each provider’s daily schedule.
  • Prepare and organize patient charts.
  • Coordinate patient flow to help minimize wait times.
  • Provide patients with assistance as needed.
  • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with referring offices.
  • Protect patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Complete other related responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least one year of customer service experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of dental terminology.
  • Friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor.
  • Basic office capabilities, including typing and filing.
  • Strong organizational ability.
  • Careful attention to detail.
  • Oral surgery experience is helpful but not required.
  • Authorization to work in the United States, verified through E-Verify, is required.
