Design Anypoint Platform integrations for federal, state, and local government customers as a MuleSoft Technical Architect at Salesforce. Lead delivery teams, shape technical solutions, and support the growth of Salesforce’s public-sector services.

Description

  • Design Anypoint Platform solutions for federal, state, and local government customers and partners
  • Advise MuleSoft implementation projects on technical strategy and execution
  • Assess customer requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions
  • Partner with customers and MuleSoft colleagues to architect transformative technology solutions
  • Direct customer, partner, and MuleSoft technical teams across phased delivery programs
  • Provide hands-on direction for development, governance, and operational lifecycle practices
  • Share product insights with MuleSoft leadership to help inform product direction and features
  • Surface engagement risks and blockers, then help develop and apply mitigation plans
  • Grow MuleSoft professional services through sales collaboration with partners, system integrators, and third parties
  • Develop Services team capability through technical and consulting training, coaching, and mentoring
  • Take part in Salesforce-sponsored volunteer initiatives

Requirements

  • Residence in the Washington, DC metropolitan area
  • Six to ten years of experience leading integration teams and architecting solutions across varied technical environments
  • A degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience facilitating technical workshops for technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience architecting service integrations with at least two of MuleSoft, IBM, BEA, Oracle Fusion, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, Progress Sonic, or comparable platforms; API management solutions; or on-premises and SaaS COTS systems for ERP, CRM, e-commerce, or mobile
  • Strong knowledge of on-premises and cloud infrastructure, SDLC pipelines, configuration, and deployment
  • Experience applying API and integration security concepts, including authentication and authorization
  • Track record with high availability, fault tolerance, performance testing, and parameter tuning across multiple engagements
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to learn new concepts, business models, and technologies quickly
  • Commitment to ongoing study of emerging technologies and capabilities
  • U.S. citizenship by birth or naturalization
  • No dual citizenship
  • Agreement to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation for a Moderate Public Trust position
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the U.S. Government security clearance required for the position
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% based on client needs
