Junior OutSystems Developer – Capgemini, Madrid (Hybrid)

Junior OutSystems Developer role at Capgemini focused on building and maintaining low-code applications, APIs, testing, and issue resolution. Work with senior developers and architects through structured mentoring and technical guidance.

Description

  • Develop and maintain OutSystems applications in line with the project’s technical standards
  • Build features, screens, business processes, and reusable components
  • Help investigate incidents and resolve straightforward technical issues
  • Carry out unit testing and support functional validation activities
  • Contribute to basic integrations with external systems through APIs and web services
  • Create and maintain essential technical and functional documentation
  • Assist with deployments and releases across environments
  • Follow the team’s development, quality, and engineering best practices
  • Work with analysts, architects, and senior developers to enhance applications
  • Take part in training and ongoing technical development activities
  • Work under senior supervision with guidance and mentoring from senior professionals and OutSystems architects

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience developing with OutSystems, using Reactive Web and/or Traditional Web
  • Foundational knowledge of data modeling, business logic, and user interface development in OutSystems
  • Experience with or understanding of REST API and web service consumption
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with version control and software lifecycle management tools
  • Ability to investigate incidents and make straightforward functional and technical fixes
  • Sufficient technical English to work with documentation and vendor support
  • Associate Developer certification in ODC or O11 is required
  • Associate Tech Lead or Web Developer Specialist certification in ODC or O11 is a plus
  • Other entry-level or foundational OutSystems certifications are also valued
