Description

  • Manage the company’s civil and consumer litigation matters efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with court orders and proper execution of litigation strategies
  • Provide legal guidance to business teams
  • Oversee high-volume civil and consumer litigation portfolios with external law firms
  • Monitor settlements, appeals, court-ordered payments, and procedural compliance
  • Support the creation of legal strategies and defense arguments
  • Maintain accurate case records in legal management systems
  • Assist with Procon matters and requests from internal departments
  • Help reduce legal risk, support business continuity, and improve internal processes
  • Cover department leadership responsibilities during maternity leave

Requirements

  • Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
  • Experience handling civil and/or consumer litigation
  • Background managing high-volume litigation portfolios
  • Working knowledge of court platforms such as PJe, e-SAJ, Projudi, DJE, or comparable systems
  • Experience with legal case management software
  • Postgraduate qualification in Civil Law, Civil Procedure, or Consumer Law is preferred but not required
  • Experience with Themis or Brainlaw is preferred but not required
  • Experience at a company managing a large volume of consumer claims is preferred but not required
  • Experience supervising external law firms is preferred but not required
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency for tracking performance metrics is preferred but not required
