Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Maintain facilities at Tru by Hilton Raleigh-Durham Airport in an onsite hotel engineering role. Handle preventive maintenance, repairs, guest service requests, and building systems.

Description

  • Support daily maintenance work such as painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, and HVAC servicing
  • Complete preventive maintenance and repairs on property-wide building systems and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment, including refrigerators, ice machines, and laundry machines
  • Help keep hotel grounds and public spaces clean and safe
  • Address guest maintenance requests promptly and professionally
  • Track and manage maintenance supplies and equipment inventory
  • Follow safety and security procedures when using tools and equipment
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Engineer to maintain the property’s condition

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in maintenance or construction
  • Basic knowledge of building maintenance methods and principles
  • Strong communication skills for working with guests and colleagues
  • Motivation to learn and expand maintenance capabilities
  • Ability to follow directions and contribute effectively on a team
  • Physical ability to lift at least 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and bend or kneel while completing maintenance work
