General Manager, Cannabis Retail — West Palm Beach, FL (Onsite)

Lead Trulieve’s cannabis retail store in West Palm Beach, overseeing sales, compliance, inventory, customer service, and team performance. This onsite role manages daily operations and supports a team of 40 or more employees.

Description

  • Supervise and lead store personnel
  • Manage inventory tracking and control
  • Deliver key performance targets
  • Oversee efficient day-to-day store operations
  • Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations
  • Provide outstanding customer experiences
  • Develop and execute plans to improve service quality and sales performance
  • Protect visual merchandising and brand standards
  • Communicate, apply, and enforce company standard operating procedures
  • Assess employee performance and determine hiring and training requirements
  • Coach and develop employees against service and accountability goals
  • Resolve patient concerns and escalated issues
  • Build and maintain professional business-partner relationships
  • Create employee schedules within the approved labor budget
  • Protect confidential information and maintain compliance
  • Complete additional management duties as assigned
  • Report to the Area Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, plus four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service
  • Previous cash-handling experience
  • Capacity to train, develop, and evaluate a team of more than 40 employees
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and professional conduct
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
  • Conversational proficiency in English
  • Ability to use electronic equipment such as computers, scanners, printers, and telecommunications devices
  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and reach appropriate conclusions
  • Valid driver’s license and a passing MVR background check for delivery locations only
  • Ability to pass Level 1 and Level 2 background checks
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to work independently with flexibility and personal integrity
  • Ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, support agencies, and patrons across different ages and abilities
  • Ability to assist patrons experiencing emotional distress or exhibiting hostile behavior
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to move throughout the facility and navigate confined spaces
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Visual and auditory acuity, with or without aids
