Canal & River Trust is a UK charity dedicated to caring for and revitalising around 2,000 miles of canals and rivers across England and Wales. Its work combines practical waterways management—including dredging, vegetation control, moorings and boating licences—with engineering, maintenance, heritage restoration and waterside regeneration. Working alongside volunteers and local communities, the organisation improves public access, protects historic sites and promotes the environmental, social and health benefits of spending time by the water.
