Join Bank of America as a Financial Solutions Advisor trainee in Dallas, developing client relationships while earning securities licenses. Advise banking, small-business, and affluent clients through financial center and phone-based service.

Description

  • Earn SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses through structured instruction and dedicated study time
  • Complete training and receive individual coaching from Academy managers
  • Develop financial-services expertise through a structured consultative model
  • Assess client needs and recommend suitable financial solutions
  • Establish, strengthen, and manage client relationships
  • Deliver comprehensive advice across the client relationship
  • Conduct client reviews and presentations
  • Recommend strategies aligned with clients’ financial goals and life priorities
  • Partner with banking and investment specialists
  • Connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill banking and investment offerings
  • Serve banking customers, small-business owners, and higher-net-worth clients
  • Start in a financial center, with potential transition to phone-based service while a permanent financial center is identified
  • Advance toward Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II after succeeding as a licensed Stage I advisor

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to obtain required securities licenses
  • Strong self-management skills for organizing time and workload
  • Experience building client relationships, evaluating needs, and recommending solutions
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for developing strong peer partnerships
  • Results-oriented approach that keeps client interests central in a fast-paced, complex setting
  • Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities at once
  • Ability to learn and adjust to new technologies and applications
  • High school diploma, GED, secondary-school credential, or equivalent
  • Obtain the SIE within 30 days of hire
  • Obtain Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days; Series 63 and 65 may substitute for Series 66
  • Completion of SAFE Act registration, background screening, and related registration procedures
  • Maintain SAFE Act registration in good standing
  • Monday through Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays
  • 40-hour workweek
  • Spanish-language ability preferred
  • Existing FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certification preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or at least one year of financial-services or sales experience preferred
