Field Service Technician - Washington Remote

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain NCR Voyix self-checkout and other electromechanical systems. Support retail customers across an assigned Tacoma-area territory.

Description

  • Complete customer installations, scheduled maintenance, and service calls in a timely, effective manner
  • Maintain and repair electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, throughout an assigned territory
  • Perform preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and full system overhauls
  • Act as the initial point of contact by communicating clearly to diagnose and resolve customer issues
  • Apply NCR Voyix training to determine and deliver appropriate solutions
  • Represent NCR Voyix professionally while supporting the operation of global commerce
  • Work with teachers, mentors, and coaches across territories to share knowledge and improve service delivery

Requirements

  • Reside locally within the designated geographic service area
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets NCR fleet standards
  • Have computer skills, basic electronics knowledge, and familiarity with relevant hardware and operating systems
  • Be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Be available for extended travel, including driving several hours per day
  • Work rotating and weekend shifts as scheduled
  • Accept flexible rotating shifts within assigned teams, including morning, afternoon, and evening start times and some holidays
  • Lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance
  • Be able to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, use your hands, and repeatedly grasp and manipulate objects of different sizes
  • Have familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software, preferred
  • Hold A+ Certification, CompTIA certification, or N+ Certification, preferred
  • Have at least one year of related experience, preferred
  • Pass the screening checks applicable to the position as a condition of employment

  • Hourly pay ranging from $17 to $19, based on location and experience
