Description

  • Maintain and grow AWS data lakehouse infrastructure
  • Build dependable ETL/ELT pipelines with dbt and Argo Workflow
  • Keep pipelines reliable, thoroughly tested, and clearly documented
  • Support and improve the AWS lakehouse using S3, Athena, and Glue
  • Create and refine analytical data models for dashboards and analytics
  • Protect data quality, integrity, and performance across the lakehouse platform
  • Work with analysts, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders across locations
  • Evaluate data requests, question assumptions, identify useful metrics, and help define measurement needs

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in data engineering or a comparable data-focused development role
  • Practical dbt experience covering models, tests, documentation, and incremental strategies
  • Experience with AWS S3 and the wider AWS lakehouse ecosystem, including Athena, Glue, or comparable services
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex transformations and query optimization
  • Analytical ability to turn business needs into technical solutions
  • Strong data intuition and the independence to evaluate models and metrics
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Experience with orchestration tools such as Argo Workflow, Airflow, or Matillion
  • Familiarity with data quality frameworks and testing methods
  • Background in media, publishing, or digital platform environments
  • A relevant higher-education degree is preferred but not required
