Creative Project Manager

Manage Bishop-McCann’s creative and event programs from kickoff through live delivery, coordinating teams, schedules, budgets, and production. The role spans print, digital, video, content, and onsite event work.

Description

  • Manage project intake, scope, and kickoff for creative assignments.
  • Set briefs, deliverables, and timelines with account teams and creative leads.
  • Run the meeting schedule and coordinate client and internal discussions.
  • Develop and manage schedules for print, digital, content, video, and animation projects.
  • Coordinate content and assets among account management, creative teams, and clients, managing reviews, approvals, routing, and version control.
  • Keep active projects updated in the project management system, with clear status, priorities, and team capacity.
  • Organize handoffs across departments for estimating, production, fulfillment, and onsite delivery.
  • Prepare estimates and track project budgets, hours, materials, invoices, and scope.
  • Plan staffing with discipline leads and balance workloads across concurrent programs.
  • Manage print production logistics, vendor schedules, proofing, and press checks.
  • Coordinate creative work for live settings, including staging, scenic elements, AV, screen content, signage, and show flow.
  • Attend assigned events onsite to coordinate scripting, content, event flow, and creative project needs.
  • Contribute to brainstorms and help develop session content and program narratives.
  • Develop, document, and refine workflows, templates, and systems.

Requirements

  • At least two years of project management experience, preferably at an agency or with creative teams.
  • Experience managing several projects at once across print, digital, video, and content.
  • Knowledge of Asana or a similar project management tool.
  • Ability to build workflows, document processes, and support team adoption.
  • Understanding of the connection between creative work and onsite production.
  • Familiarity with staging, AV, scenic design, and show execution.
  • Experience with content development and creative ideation strategies.
  • Budget management experience, including estimating, tracking hours, processing invoices, and reporting against scope.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Professional composure when deadlines are tight and priorities shift quickly.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Event industry experience, such as corporate events, incentives, production, or experiential marketing, is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of print production guidelines and press check terminology is preferred.
  • Availability and willingness to travel onsite for assigned events.
