Senior AI Platforms Analytics and Governance Lead

Lead analytics and governance for HP’s enterprise AI platforms, including GitHub Copilot and OpenAI. Shape forecasting, cost controls, platform optimization, and executive reporting to support sustainable AI adoption.

Description

  • Oversee HP’s enterprise AI platforms, including GitHub Copilot and OpenAI.
  • Set platform standards, governance policies, and model usage guidelines.
  • Assess emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption approaches.
  • Coordinate with security, legal, privacy, and compliance teams.
  • Establish budget guardrails and cost allocation approaches.
  • Build usage forecasts and dashboards for executives.
  • Find ways to improve efficiency through prompt engineering and caching, model routing, token reduction, context window and RAG optimization, batch processing, and agent orchestration.
  • Plan project work and define data collection, analysis, and visualization methods.
  • Track platform activity, token use, license utilization, and user adoption.
  • Forecast AI credit consumption, budgets, and capacity needs.
  • Advise executive leaders, development partners, and industry standards groups through subject expertise and business judgment.
  • Advance the adoption of data science technologies and practices.
  • Monitor business intelligence developments and recommend useful innovations.
  • Set functional strategy, policy, and direction as a functional manager.
  • Coach and support less senior colleagues.
  • Develop executive dashboards and KPIs for AI adoption, realized business value, and return on investment.
  • Use statistical analysis and machine learning to identify anomalies, forecast costs, and suggest efficiency gains.
  • Work with platform owners, engineering, finance, procurement, and business stakeholders to inform decisions with data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or graduate degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related field; equivalent experience or demonstrated expertise may also qualify.
  • Typically at least seven years of experience, preferably in data analytics, database management, statistical analysis, or a related area.
  • Certification in a programming language such as SQL or Python is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology, business intelligence, computer science, dashboards, data analysis and management, data modeling and quality, data science and visualization, data warehousing, ETL, machine learning, Power BI, Python, R, SAS, SQL, statistics, and Tableau.
