Contract Analyst in Vaughan, Canada

Manage GPO agreements, pricing, rebates, bids, and contract compliance for Terumo Medical Corporation’s medical-device operations in Canada. Partner with sales, marketing, finance, and other teams to support accurate, timely contract administration.

Description

  • Administer processing requirements for Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and Individual Account Purchase Agreements (IPA)
  • Refresh assigned GPO, buying group, and member organization lists monthly and distribute updates internally
  • Maintain GPO membership records and amendment trackers
  • Track relevant RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs for TMCI business units
  • Coordinate accurate, compliant, and timely submissions with sales, marketing, finance, and other stakeholders
  • Review hospital, GPO, and government bid portals and circulate relevant opportunities to cross-functional teams
  • Assess contract compliance, pricing accuracy, and overall agreement performance
  • Research pricing variances, identify root causes, and help implement corrections
  • Maintain contractual pricing files
  • Contribute to rebate proposals, sales reporting, accruals, calculations, and payments
  • Provide ongoing administrative support for GPO and hospital contracts
  • Load pricing, maintain factsheets, issue monthly expiry notices, and update account reports
  • Support RFI and RFP activities
  • Review processes, procedures, and systems and recommend operational improvements
  • Adhere to TMC Quality Systems, patient safety standards, AdvaMed guidance, and Terumo policies
  • Refer customer complaints and adverse events to Quality Assurance
  • Assist Finance with annual budgeting, including analysis, variance reporting, consolidation, and submission
  • Complete additional duties related to the role as assigned
  • Follow Environmental Health & Safety and Quality System policies, programs, procedures, and practices

Requirements

  • Professional fluency in French and English, including reading, writing, and speaking
  • Capacity to learn Terumo products, procedures, and systems quickly
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities and deadlines independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Ability to produce recurring and ad hoc ERP reports; SAP, Oracle, or Power BI experience is preferred
  • Self-directed and action-oriented, with the ability to work independently
  • Discretion when handling confidential information
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree plus at least two years of contract analyst or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience
  • Prior analytical work involving contracts, including legal terms and conditions, is preferred
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle or SAP is preferred
