CHS Inc. is hiring an onsite Office Assistant in Haxtun, Colorado, to support data entry, customer service, and product management. The role handles administrative operations for a farmer-owned global agribusiness.

Description

  • Handle general administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Coordinate multiple projects and prioritize work against required deadlines.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with employees at every organizational level.
  • Prepare correspondence and other business documents.
  • Build and maintain relationships with administrative staff while providing backup support.
  • Complete administrative work and special projects for departments and employees.
  • Protect the confidentiality of employee records and related information.
  • Support a strong safety culture by following applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Recognize workplace hazards and report them or help correct unsafe actions and conditions.
  • Prepare operational and accounting reports for management review.
  • Deliver courteous, helpful customer service.
  • Welcome and direct visitors, answer routine questions, and share general information.
  • Route incoming calls and messages to the appropriate destination.
  • Take on additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Work onsite Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

  • At least one year of administrative assistance or office support experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working proficiency with telephone, fax, postage, and copier equipment.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural materials.
  • Ability to present information and answer questions from managers, clients, customers, and members of the public.
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, push, and pull.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to speak frequently as part of the role.
  • Selected candidates may need to complete pre-employment screenings, which may include drug, criminal, motor vehicle, physical requirements, and/or FMCSA Clearinghouse checks.
