Business Development Manager - Missouri Remote
Lead business development for Grantek’s automation and smart manufacturing solutions across the Midwest. Win new clients, build partnerships, and support revenue growth with travel of up to 50% across North America.
Description
- Create and carry out plans to identify, target, and win new clients
- Build lasting relationships with prospects by understanding their needs and connecting them with suitable services
- Work with current clients to uncover upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Prepare strategic responses and proposals for RFPs
- Generate leads through market research, networking, and direct outreach
- Contribute to organizational decisions, strategic direction, and business planning
- Maintain strong client satisfaction and retention
- Partner with District Leaders to advance revenue growth across the company
- Help cultivate a positive and rewarding workplace
Requirements
- Bring at least 5–7 years of experience in sales or account management
- Experience in the automation industry is an asset
- Post-secondary engineering education is preferred
- Demonstrate leadership, decisiveness, flexibility, sound judgment, and strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
- Communicate exceptionally well and build strong interpersonal connections
- Establish and develop productive client relationships
- Be willing to travel up to 50% across North America
