AI Forward-Deployed Engineer (Onsite, Hong Kong)

Build and operate production LLM agents, RAG systems, and workflow automation for CoinDesk in Hong Kong. Partner with internal teams to remove operational bottlenecks and deliver measurable business improvements.

Description

  • Work with business stakeholders to uncover and define operational bottlenecks
  • Develop tools that improve processes across Customer Success, Exchange Operations, Trading, and Custody
  • Clarify requirements, obtain data access, and establish confidence with internal stakeholders
  • Deliver solutions quickly with n8n, Make, Zapier, Lovable, Python, or other appropriate technologies
  • Create and support production AI applications such as RAG pipelines, conversational tools, workflow automations, and internal agents
  • Lead workshops and training for non-technical colleagues
  • Establish performance measures, monitor outcomes, and explain business value
  • Take ownership of solutions from initial prototype through production operation

Requirements

  • Provide a portfolio of shipped work, including personal projects, side tools, public demos, GitHub repositories, write-ups, Loom walkthroughs, or live URLs
  • Demonstrate rapid, effective use of LLMs, including parallel coding-agent workflows and coordination across agents
  • Understand current frontier-model capabilities and how to align model sophistication with task requirements
  • Have production experience implementing evaluations, error handling, and observability
  • Use a structured approach supported by documentation, standard operating procedures, and checklists
  • Be able to independently deliver software with AI coding agents
  • Explain technical projects in language that is relevant to business stakeholders
  • Bring at least five years of experience shipping tools used by real people
  • Experience with vector databases such as Qdrant, Pinecone, or pgvector is desirable
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases is desirable
  • Basic Docker and containerization knowledge is desirable
  • Exposure to blockchain or trading concepts is desirable
