- Deliver sales and profit results across an assigned Phoenix territory
- Execute sales and marketing initiatives while developing near- and long-term territory strategies
- Win profitable new business through market research, networking, and proactive prospecting
- Lead sales and retention efforts that improve performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Forecast, plan, and report sales activity and competitive pricing strategies
- Build targeted call plans and meet customers through in-person visits

- Expand territory accounts through cold-calling initiatives

- Evaluate customer portfolios and develop plans for underperforming accounts
- Partner with inside sales teams to support growth and business development
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues, including situations with incomplete information
- Complete assignments independently and develop appropriate solution strategies
- May coordinate project and assignment delivery by planning, delegating, monitoring, and reviewing work
- Support employee professional development without responsibility for hiring or termination decisions
- Travel overnight less than 10% of the time

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or a master’s degree with relevant experience
- Business-to-business sales experience
- Experience applying consultative or solution-based selling methods
- Proficiency with Salesforce
- Typically requires 5–8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 3–5 years with a master’s degree
- An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record report is required
- Must be able to operate a company or personal vehicle for more than 50% of the average work week
- Certification is required in certain areas
