Detection and Investigation Associate
Investigate suspicious banking activity and help mitigate fraud, anti-money laundering, and organizational-risk losses at PNC. Analyze cases, assess reporting and escalation needs, and support stronger internal controls.

- Help control and prevent losses associated with fraud, anti-money laundering, and organizational risk.
- Support the development and implementation of internal controls informed by root-cause analysis.
- Detect suspicious activity and help prevent unlawful conduct.
- Assist with recovering losses that have occurred.
- Identify control gaps and enhancements with potentially significant financial impact.
- Work independently with internal and external stakeholders, including authorities, agencies, and other financial institutions.
- Conduct investigations into identified activity.
- Use standard criteria and independent judgment to determine whether activity is reportable or requires escalation.
- Prepare and maintain required investigation records.
- Support customer-focused resolutions and enterprise risk-management practices.
