Tavsif

  • Turn planning, operations, and sales questions into measurable modeling problems
  • Build demand forecasting models for regular, irregular, and sparse demand
  • Formulate and solve optimization problems with linear and mixed-integer programming solvers
  • Use simulation to evaluate scenarios
  • Deploy, version, monitor, and retrain production models with data engineering teams
  • Build and maintain Python and FastAPI services on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Apply security best practices
  • Design, build, and deploy AI-enabled applications
  • Bring machine learning solutions through to production

Talablar

  • Strong foundations in classical machine learning and statistics, including regression, trees and boosting, regularization, probability, and prediction intervals
  • Sound validation practices, including temporal backtesting without data leakage, and metrics connected to business goals
  • Experience with time series and demand forecasting
  • Operations research experience, including formulating optimization problems and solving them with Pyomo, OR-Tools, PuLP, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with Monte Carlo and discrete-event simulation, such as SimPy
  • Conceptual understanding of inventory and supply chain topics, including safety stock, service level, lead time, and turnover
  • Proficiency in Python data tools, including pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Production-grade backend experience
  • Demonstrated experience taking models into production, including deployment, monitoring, drift detection, and retraining
  • Practical experience with a major cloud platform
  • Experience with API design and backend security fundamentals
  • A master's or doctoral degree in operations research, industrial engineering, statistics, or another quantitative field is preferred
