Business Analyst at Blue Cross NC (Hybrid, Durham)
Support Blue Cross NC health insurance operations through requirements analysis, reporting, and process improvement. This hybrid role is based near Durham, North Carolina.
Tavsif
- Research and analyze business operations to identify needs and support decisions.
- Gather, document, develop, and track business and functional requirements.
- Address intermediate business problems through technology and process improvements.
- Define requirements for departmental and company-wide projects.
- Communicate requirements to stakeholders and subject matter experts, and confirm they are accurate.
- Work with project teams and keep requirements traceable throughout delivery.
- Help prepare the business for change and support change communications.
- Write procedures and specifications for system, product, and process changes.
- Coordinate change implementation with managers and staff.
- Create customer feedback methods and analyze the responses.
- Build and maintain reporting tools while safeguarding data integrity and system stability.
- Manage data access, distribute reports, and present findings.
- Partner with trainers to develop training programs.
- Use data flow, use-case, workflow, process-mapping, functional-decomposition, and financial ROI analysis techniques.
- Support vendor relationships and business training.
- Review work produced by less experienced analysts.
Talablar
- A bachelor's or advanced degree, where required, or at least five years of related experience in place of a degree.
- At least three years of experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated experience writing requirements in Waterfall and Agile environments.
- Health insurance experience is strongly preferred.
- Must currently live within 60 miles of Durham, North Carolina.
- The Hybrid-Flex role requires working in the office at least two days per week for collaboration and connection.
