Sales Executive - Texas Remote

Opis
- Represent Kemper as a trusted partner to agencies and its broader partnership network
- Increase profitable revenue across the assigned territory
- Establish and strengthen productive agency relationships
- Source and develop new and emerging business opportunities
- Monitor market trends and competitors while sharing feedback on current products
- Create and carry out strategies to achieve or surpass premium and policy targets
- Identify prospective agencies and pursue appointment opportunities
- Visit existing agencies and conduct other field-based sales activities
- Compile and present market intelligence to company leadership
- Coordinate with sales, product, claims, agency support and licensing, marketing, customer service, and underwriting teams
- Maintain direct, in-person engagement with agencies and business partners
- Analyze territory information and focus on agencies and relationships with the strongest growth potential
- Travel beyond the assigned territory, potentially on a frequent and extensive basis
- Educate agents on underwriting standards, procedures, programs, websites, and rating tools
- Keep field activity, agency intelligence, personnel, contact, strategy, and appointment records current
- Submit paperwork, reports, and other documentation accurately and on schedule
- Attend insurance association conventions, seminars, trade shows, and agency functions
- Complete additional responsibilities assigned by leadership
Zahteve
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or marketing, or at least three years of preferred sales experience
- At least one year of preferred insurance experience
- Bilingual ability is a plus
- Working knowledge of insurance operations, including underwriting, claims, marketing, and product functions
- Maintain an acceptable driving record
- Strong communication skills and effective public speaking ability
- Flexible, highly motivated, and self-directed approach to work
- Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills for manipulating, segmenting, and interpreting report data
- Strong time-management capabilities
- Critical-thinking and logical problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret statistical information from company reports and develop insight-based action plans
- Residence within the assigned territory
