Onsite Field Engineer, Commercial Construction
Support Ryan Companies’ commercial construction work across Chicago, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Dallas, Tucson, and Atlanta. Coordinate drawings, materials, schedules, subcontractors, billings, and invoices.
Opis
- Report to the Superintendent or Quality Manager, with indirect reporting to the Project Manager.
- Support the project team in delivering an assigned construction project.
- Build knowledge of field and office operations and how they relate to physical construction.
- Coordinate shop drawings.
- Assist office and field staff.
- Complete estimates and quantity takeoffs.
- Purchase materials needed for assigned tasks.
- Track materials and equipment inventory at the project site.
- Monitor and update project schedules.
- Track assigned subcontracts, subcontractor schedules and staffing, and material deliveries.
- Prepare billings and review invoices.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Zahteve
- Must verify authorization to work in the United States.
- A four-year college degree is required, preferably in a construction-related field.
- Ability to take responsibility and work effectively with others.
